Keto Tea with Matcha and Vanilla

Here’s one for the keto-biohackers out there. If your goal is to explore nutritional ketosis for brain health purposes, add this keto tea to your plan. If you want to lose weight or love to drink tea all day long, it might be better to move along as this one’s stacked with fat calories. Consuming large amounts of fat in beverages is quite popular in LCHF/keto communities, but calories still count it comes to losing weight.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1–2 drops vanilla extract
  • (or seeds from 1–2 cm of vanilla pod)


Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Add the remaining ingredients and blend with a hand-held blender until creamy and combined.
